2021 Community Planning and Partnership Meeting - May 11, 2021

For the past three years, both school boards have jointly hosted the meeting to encourage information sharing and the exchange of ideas and needs among invited community organizations for potential partnership opportunities. However, the meeting was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ministry of Education’s Community Planning and Partnerships Guideline encourages school boards and potential community partners to share planning information regularly, which may lead to mutually beneficial opportunities to share school facilities. This includes new builds or renovations, and when considering the use of unoccupied school space, and school properties that may be considered for future disposition.
