We know that screening is an important protective factor in keeping everyone safe from COVID-19. Therefore, parents are asked to please use the Provincial Screener daily to assess for symptoms, and to follow Public Health recommendations.
- Students in grades Kindergarten to Grade 3 will be asked at the beginning of the school day if they completed the screener at home.
- Students in grades 4-8 will be prompted to complete a Google Form on their devices indicating that they completed the screener at home.
- Students in grades 9-12 will be prompted to complete the screener on their devices when arriving at school.
Thank you for your assistance with daily Screening. This will also continue for a minimum of two weeks after the Christmas break.
The Province of Ontario is providing take home Rapid Antigen Screening kits to every student in Ontario attending in person classes. These kits will be sent home with students in the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board in the coming days. Please be on the lookout for them (picture below). Instructions will be provided on how to use the kits. Please note participation is voluntary but it is encouraged.
